The first batch of Dental Students, Academic Year 2020/2021 were welcomed to the Faculty on 26th January 2022. At the virtual welcome ceremony that was held Senior Professor Sudantha Liyanage, Vice-chancellor of the university, Senior Professor Surangi G. Yasawardene, Acting Dean, Faculty of Dental Sciences and Dr. Priyake Palipana, Senior Lecturer in Restorative Dentistry addressed the students. The students commenced their online Orientation Course soon after the Welcome Ceremony.
