Dress Code and Professional Conduct
➢ Students are expected to maintain professional standards at all times.
➢ Dress in smart professional attire
Recommended attire:
• Long trousers, light-coloured short sleeved shirts (or long but folded sleeved shirts) and formal shoes are appropriate to hospital during daytime.
• However please note that clothing such as shorts, tights, short dresses, vests, tank tops, slippers/flip-flops and bright shiny coloured clothes etc. are not considered appropriate inside the hospital or University.
Clinical coat/Scrub
• Dental students are expected to be dressed in clinical coats inside the hospital.
• In the absence of white coats, the scrubs you wear in your own dental schools will be allowed with prior permission taken from the Elective coordinator.
• Please note that clinical coats/scrubs will not be provided by the Faculty/Hospital, and students are expected to bring their own appropriate clinical attire.
• Visible student identification where required
