Students of the Faculty of Dental Sciences recently organized a remarkable donation programme at Apeksha Hospital, Maharagama on 16th May 2023. The students of both first and second batches got together in organizing this programme where a wide range of essential items, including clothes, diapers and other day-to-day necessities were successfully donated to the patients at Apeksha Hospital.
Donations were obtained from the students and the staff of the Faculty of Dental Sciences and funds were raised by dental students by holding a food stall at “Avurudu pola”, to achieve the targeted budget for the donation programme. This donation programme not only provided much-needed support to the patients at Apeksha Hospital but also exemplified the compassionate nature and strong commitment of the dental students.
