Celebrating Excellence, Experience and Academic Collaboration
The Faculty of Dental Sciences, University of Sri Jayewardenepura, proudly hosted the Certificate Awarding Ceremony for Honorary Senior Lecturers on 24th of September 2026, celebrating the appointment and valuable contribution of distinguished professionals to the Faculty’s academic community.
The ceremony brought together eminent professionals from the fields of Dental and Medical disciplines, recognizing their expertise, professional achievements and willingness to contribute to the education and development of future dental professionals.
The event was graced by the Vice Chancellor of the University of Sri Jayewardenepura, Senior Professor S.M.C.U.P. Subasinghe, and the Dean of the Faculty of Dental Sciences, Professor Priyake Palipana, together with distinguished academic staff, university officials, invited guests, students and the newly appointed Honorary Senior Lecturers.
The appointment of Honorary Senior Lecturers represents the Faculty’s commitment to strengthening the connection between academic education, clinical practice and professional expertise.
